The Center intends to sponsor research on a range of topics of significance to U.S.-China Relations. Posted below are the first three completed drafts by Professors Chu Shulong, Chen Shaofeng and Wang Feng.
Professor Shulong Chu of Tsinghua University completed his paper "Two Pillars of Long-term China-U.S. Relations" during an academic visit at New York University's Center on U.S.-China Relations in early 2013. It was published in Contemporary International Affairs in Beijing, 2013 (3), and has been translated and updated here to include a few references to events in that period.
Professor Shaofeng Chen of Peking University also visited NYU in 2015 and completed his paper "China’s Belt and Road Initiative: Old Wine in a New Bottle" in September 2016.
Professor Feng Wang of University of California, Irvine completed his paper "The Demographic Factors in China's March Toward a High-income Society" in March 2018.
