The film just made into a shortlist for an Oscar in the Best Foreign Film category. This is the first official entry from Belarus in twenty two years. The film is making its rounds in the international film festival circuit, but at this point it does not have an American release date yet. Darya Zhuk has agreed to have a private screening for the NYU academic and student community. The screening will take place in the Bobst Library, 5th floor, Avery Fischer Center, Immersion Room. Screening is free, but please RSVP if you are able to attend.
