The Consortium for Intellectual and Cultural History
The Consortium for Intellectual and Cultural History, founded in 2007 as a cooperative venture amongst area institutions, plays a primarily organizational goal in uniting scholars and students from the New York metropolitan area who have common interests in the field.
Besides maintaining a communication network to publicize events across campuses, the consortium pursues three principal activities: it organizes an annual paper series, currently hosted at the Remarque Institute; it organizes occasional conferences, whether on its own or in cooperation with other departments and centers; and it distributes summer fellowship funds for graduate students.
