Feminist Constellations is an agile participatory platform for weaving alliances among women at the forefront of communal and movement struggles for justice. FC exists to create unique spaces where multiple feminisms with diverse genealogies meet to amplify Native American/Indigenous and African Diaspora voices. By bringing together feminist and anti-racist activists, community leaders, and scholars across the Americas, FC seeks to bolster north-south alliances through dialog, knowledge sharing between academia and social movements, and forging innovative justice-seeking methodologies and pedagogies. Our goal is to create spaces for horizontal dialog to connect our common struggles and foster solidarity.

Feminist Constellations aims to bridge academic and activist spaces. This involves: building alliances within the academy, bringing together diverse contributions across schools and centers to engage the expertise and networks of professors, students, and alumni engaged in feminist, anti-racist research, and connecting these expertises with that of activists, movements, and centers at the forefront of struggles across the Americas.

Events - and the collaborative research and relationship building processes that lead to them, along with the post-event space for resource sharing and reflection - are integral to developing a lasting methodology for analysis, organizing, and building alliances.
FC seeks to formulate events that are both methodologically rich and bring together activists and academics to further nuanced, horizontal dialog around contemporary social movements. Subverting traditional hierarchical conference formats, these events provide a participatory platform for learning about positions and complexities within existing and evolving movements, keeping a plurality of voices and positions in the conversation.
