Please join us for our next workshop on where we will be reading a dissertation chapter by Stephanie George titled Listening for Ancient South India: British Orientalism in the West Indies and Within the Sonic Terrain of ‘Madrasi’ Music in Guyana and New York City. Professor David García from the Department of Music at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill will be serving as our discussant.
