The College of Arts and Science (CAS) and the Graduate School of Arts and Science (GSAS) offer students in many different departments, including the Center for European and Mediterranean Studies, the opportunity to earn both a bachelor's and master's degree in a shorter period of time and at less cost. While still undergraduates, students on this track get a head start on graduate coursework. This allows students to finish a master’s degree within one additional year of study at GSAS after earning the bachelor’s degree.
Admission and Eligibility Criteria
The Bachelor's-Master's program is open only to NYU undergraduates who are matriculated in CAS or General Liberal Studies (GLS). Students may apply to the program after completing 3 semesters at NYU with 2 semesters remaining in CAS or GLS. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA for admission to, and continuation in, the Bachelor's-Master's program.
Scholarships and Financial Aid
Bachelor's-Master's students are eligible for a tuition scholarship covering 50% of master's tuition and fees as outlined on the Accelerated Bachelor's-Master's Track webpage. The Bachelor's-Master's scholarship is available to all students who accepted into the progam, including international students, and does not require an additional application
