Areas of Study
While the Psychology major does not offer specific “tracks” related to particular areas of study, it has been designed in such a way as to allow interested students to focus on the areas of specialized study listed below. Please click on each area to find out about its related courses.
Please note that ALL students majoring in Psychology are required to complete Introduction to Psychology (PSYCH-UA.1), Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences (PSYCH-UA.10) and Advanced Psychological Statistics (PSYCH-UA.11).
Undergraduate students interested in pursuing an advanced degree or other research-oriented career options might also consider taking additional classes in statistics, math, or computer programming.
