I received my BA in Psychology from Prairie View A&M University, my MS in Counseling from The State University of New York at Albany and my PhD in Psychology from Columbia University.

I began my career counseling adults and adolescents and have done so in a variety of settings including a homeless shelter for teens, a community mental health agency, an inpatient Psychiatric Center, an Employee Assistance Program as well as College Counseling Centers. I have also conducted career counseling in College Counseling Centers.
Subsequent to my clinical experience, my career transitioned into administrative roles in health and human service agencies in New York City where I worked with the staff of these organizations to develop and execute training programs, as well as develop and implement strategies to improve program efficiency.
My recent professional focus has been on Human Resources and Organizational Development and in a variety of industries: Insurance, Management Consulting, Advertising, Branding, Media/Television and Sports/Entertainment. I am currently the Chief People Officer at You & Mr Jones.
