Caroline Bowman joined the department in 2016, after completing a B.A. in philosophy at Claremont McKenna College. She is most interested in Kant, early modern philosophy (especially Spinoza), and 19th-century European philosophy (especially Hegel). She is a co-founder of NYU’s Minorities and Philosophy (MAP) chapter.
