I'm a first-year PhD student interested in what we can or can't know, learn, or mean (and how, and why). I especially like the sort of philosophy that involves math, and the sort of math that involves philosophy. Before coming to NYU I studied both math and philosophy at Carleton College, and before that I lived in southern California.
For now, some of my particular interests are Bayesian epistemology, confirmation, self-reference, and conditionals. Outside of philosophy, I like puzzles, games, and playing guitar.
