INTELLECTUAL HISTORY WORKSHOP: Ned Blackhawk

For our closing event of the semester, on Thursday, December 12, at 5 pm, the Intellectual History Workshop and the Native Studies Forum are co-hosting: Prof. Ned Blackhawk (Yale University): Indigenous Informants in the Currents of Empire: Perspectives on Franz Boas and the Origins of American Ethnography. The talk is linked to the recent publication of Ned Blackhawk and Isaiah Lorado Wilner, eds. Indigenous Visions: Rediscovering the World of Franz Boas (Yale, 2018), which has just won the Anthology Prize of the Modernist Studies Association.
