Farah Al Souri is the Grants Coordinator and Executive Assistant to the Director General at the Arab Council for the Social Sciences (ACSS), a regional, independent, non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening social science research and knowledge production in the Arab world. She co-coordinated the ACSS’ Towards a New Generation of Social Scientists project, encouraging students in the Arab region to pursue a degree in the Social Sciences. As part of this project, she co-managed the development of a documentary film, and the creation, selection and implementation of an online course and a summer institute on Arab Cities. She also worked as an Academic Assistant in the Department of Economics at the Lebanese American University (LAU), where she developed and taught a civic engagement course. She holds an MBA in Business Administration, and a BS in Business with an emphasis in Banking and Finance.
