Please leave the studios in the same state that you found them in (or better)!
That means absolutely no trash.
Tidy up stands, cables and other equipment.
Power off any equipment that was off when you came in.
Please wash and/or sanitize your hands on entering the studio before handling any equipment AND on leaving the studio. Face masks are required as much as possible, especially when recording vocals on our shared microphones. If you are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, please STAY HOME and do not use the studios.
Please do not eat or drink near the equipment. Sealed water bottles are fine inside the studio as long as they are kept away from the equipment.
Studio time can be booked by faculty or grad students. Priority goes to those with projects that specifically require a studio space or studio equipment (ie. recording, mixing/editing, spatial audio). Undergrad students can apply for supervised studio time with their professor's permission. For rehearsals, we recommend using one of our other rooms (Silver 218, 318, 220 or 320). You can also book practice rooms in the Kimmel Center here.
