Sam Bowman is finishing up a series of invited talks about data and evaluation in NLP, which includes in-person talks at UT Austin, University College London, Tel Aviv University, Bar Ilan University, Technion, and the Hebrew University; online talks at The University of Pennsylvania, UChicago/TTI-C, Unbabel/IST-Lisbon, and the NeurIPS Workshop on Self-Supervised Learning; and online panels at Carnegie Mellon and through the new NeurIPS plenary panel program.
These talks draw most directly build on two (https://aclanthology.org/2021.naacl-main.385.pdf) recent (https://arxiv.org/abs/2110.08300) position papers, but also showcase joint work with other department members, including Alicia Parrish, Alex Warstadt, Omar Agha, Soo-Hwan Lee, Zhuoye Zhao, Sebastian Schuster, and Tal Linzen.
