REQUIREMENTS
This joint major requires a total of nine (9) 4-credit courses (36 credits). Students may choose to combine Italian with French, Portuguese, or Spanish. One language is designated as primary, in which students must take five (5) 4-credit courses; students complete the other 4 courses in the secondary language. Thus, majors in Romance Languages are able to take advantage of the rich course offerings and resources of our world-renowned language departments and learn from distinguished scholars in both fields.
