FALL 2020 CURRICULAR PLAN
To the extent possible, Glucksman Ireland House courses will meet in person in New York during fall 2020. We are taking appropriate measures to ensure that on-site instructional spaces are set up in compliance with NYU, city, and state guidelines for physical distancing in classrooms. Our course listings will be updated regularly in Albert to indicate the method of instruction for each course ("in person," "blended," or "online""). As of June/early July, we are listing our graduate classes as "online" but will update that status as we get closer to the start of the new academic year if "in person" or "blended" is possible. Please note that “in person” means that while the course will meet in person, remote instruction is still available to those who can’t physically be here.
We very much aspire to using our lovely home at Washington Mews as much as possible especially for our graduate student community.
Glucksman Ireland House will continue to offer a wide range of co-curricular programming for students during fall 2020. In addition, the Director of Graduate Studies, Dr. Miriam Nyhan Grey will host regular "office hours” via Zoom to meet with students. As we finalize plans for on-site workspaces, library services, and food and beverage service, we will communicate this to our students and other community members.
