New York University’s Graduate School of Arts and Science and the Palmer School of Library and Information Science at Long Island University (LIU) offer a dual master’s degree program that prepares students as a subject specialist/scholar-librarian in academic and research in academic and research institutions or as an information specialist in a specialized library or information center. Our MA in French Studies is eligible for this dual program.
The entire LIS MS program is offered at Palmer’s NYU site in Bobst Library. Students take a total of approximately 13 fewer credits in the dual degree program than if they took each master’s degree separately.
For more information, please visit both NYU’s GSAS website and LIU’s website. Please email our Director of Graduate Studies, Frédéric Viguier (frederic.viguier@nyu.edu) with any questions.
