Do not need to clock in and out of PeopleSync to track your hours each day.
Time Off Accrual
Vacation Time - Will accrue 22 vacation days per academic year.
Sick Time – The number of paid sick days available to you increases with your length of employment. Your completed years of continuous NYU employment is equal to your maximum paid sick time in a one 12-month period, as follows:
1 year: 20 sick days
2 to 4 years: 40 days
5 to 7 years: 60 days
8 to 9 years: 80 days
10 or more years: 120 days- Personal Time – Accrual remains the same – you receive 2 personal days per year on September 1st. These days expire on August 31st of the following year.

Benefits

You must visit the Benefits Resource Center within 31 days of your promotion start date to elect benefits. You will automatically be enrolled in the default medical and dental plans unless you opt-out.
NYU fitness facilities - contributions will increase as an administrator.
Retirement Plan
NYU Staff Pension Plan - the amount of your benefit in the NYU Staff Pension Plan depends on your credited service, while your entitlement to benefits and eligibility to retire early depends on your vesting service.

NYU Retirement Plan - NYU will provide a non-elective contribution to the NYU Retirement Plan of 5% and a matching contribution of up to 5% of your base salary.
You will be auto-enrolled in the Retirement Plan at 5% of your pay. You have 60 days to opt-out or contribute a different amount via the NYU Retirement Plans Portal on the NYU Home Work tab.

Tuition Remission
100% of graduate tuition remission is covered for administrators earning a base salary of $100,000 or less per year
Administrators that are paid above $100,000 per year must contribute 10% towards the cost of their tuition remission benefit.
