Helen M. Jones Prize
This is awarded to the student who, in the judgment of the Department of History, has made the best record in the history honors course.
John W. Wilkes Prize
Presented for sevice and academic achievement in History.
Kwame Yeboah Daaku Memorial Prize in African History
Presented to a graduating senior for accomplishment and interest in African History.
Nathan Schoengood History Award
This award is given annually to the graduating senior considered to have demonstrated conscientious and outstanding work in the Undergraduate History Department.
Richard Hull Fellowship
This award provides funds to help defray the costs of an NYU undergraduate student either to participate in an NYU study abroad program in Africa, or to undertake other research-related projects on African history. Students considered for the Richard Hull Fellowship may come from any FAS discipline.
