This panel discussion on “The Future of the Occupation” originally slated for April 25th will be postponed to a later date. We at the Taub Center for Israel Studies take very seriously the need for equitable representation and diverse perspectives. We cannot perpetuate the problem of silencing women in academia, and we apologize for creating a panel that excluded female scholars.
Please check back as we anticipate posting a new panel date in the very near future.
The occupation of territory beyond the 1967 borders remains one of the most significant issues in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, but in recent years it is rarely discussed. By bringing together speakers representing views across the political spectrum, the Taub Center for Israel Studies hopes to give voice to new thinking and encourage a fresh debate on possible solutions to the volatile realities on the ground.
Individual lectures by the panelists will be made available on this page. All panelists will come together for a live Webinar discussion moderated by Prof. Ronald Zweig, director of the Taub Center (Date TBA).
