Raymond Blankenhorn has over 10 years of professional experience in the theatre as an actor, writer, and director. He has created theatrical adaptations of texts by Schnitzler, Zweig, and Rilke, among others. His academic work investigates the dynamics of performance within the context of German history and criticism. He has received support from the Goethe Institut, the Manhattan Theatre Club, and the Lincoln Center Directors Lab. Raymond holds a BA in Classics from Oxford University.
