Yukiko Hanawa is a Senior Language Lecturer of Japanese. She has a B.A. in Communication Theory and an M.A. in Women's Studies and Asian American Studies from California State University Long Beach, an M.A. in History from Stanford University, and a PhD in East Asian Literature from Cornell. She has given multiple presentations on Japanese language and culture at international conferences and has had several texts published, ranging from books to articles.
