I received a B.A. in Psychology in 1986 from the University of Delaware. I received both my M.S. (1990) and my Ph.D. (1995) in Applied Psychology from Stevens Institute of Technology.
I have experience working as an internal and external consultant. My present position is Executive Consultant at PDI Ninth House, which is a global leadership development consulting firm. In my role, I focus primarily on leadership assessment, development, and executive coaching for senior leaders across a broad range of organizations. Prior to PDI Ninth House, I worked for two global professional services firms (KPMG and Marsh and McLennan) in internal leadership development and program management roles. At Marsh - I was the global manager for the firm's accelerated leadership development strategy, which included the development of a customized leadership development program experience in Asia Pac. My previous role was as a Vice President with Aon Consulting (Talent Solutions Consulting Group), where I directed projects involving assessment, development and learning programs for Fortune 500 companies in a wide range of industries.
I have been teaching at NYU since 2003.
