Kazue Kurokawa received an undergraduate degree in Modern Languages with a Spanish concentration from Pacific University in 2002. She completed an M.A. degree in Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language from The University of Iowa, in 2008. Before coming to NYU in , she taught at Haverford College, and Texas A & M University. She currently teaches courses in Japanese language.
