Dongmin Kim received an undergraduate degree in Korean language and literature from Korea University in 1999 and a second BA in Chinese language and literature from Korea National Open University in 2008. He completed an M.A. degree in Korean Second Language Pedagogy from Korea University in 2010. Dongmin holds a Ph.d. in Korean language pedagogy from the University of Hawai‘i. Dongmin is an ACTFL Certified OPI Tester from the American Council on the Teaching Foreign Languages since 2016. Before coming to NYU in 2015, he taught at Middlebury College and the University of Hawai‘i. He currently teaches courses in Korean language.
