Ankit Bhardwaj is a PhD Student in Sociology at New York University. He is studying the politics of expertise on reducing carbon emissions. He was previously based at the Centre for Policy Research, New Delhi where he investigated the politics of climate change in India's cities, and contributed to the United Nations Environment Programme’s Emissions Gap Report in 2019.
