Research Interests
Angelika Winner’s research interests are situated at the intersection of food, health, and race. Her work is focused on issues of food justice and public health with an emphasis on racial justice. She is currently studying the foodways of women of color and their daily politics of resistance against racial inequities in the food environment of American cities. Angelika Winner’s research is community-based and involves working with grassroots organizations working on issues of racial justice and food equity.
