Anas Alsayed Suliman is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Arabic in the Department of Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies at New York University. He comes highly recommended. Anas holds a Master’s degree in Arabic from Georgetown University, a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from Oakland University, and an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts from Oakland Community College. Anas’s area of expertise is Arabic grammar. His research interests also include Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language. Anas has taught elementary, intermediate, and advanced Arabic as well as media Arabic, Arabic short stories, Arabic grammar, and modern and classical Arabic literature. Prior to his appointment at NYU, Anas has taught Arabic at Iowa State University, Prairie View A&M University, Montana State University, Johns Hopkins University, and with the Department of Defense.
