Mehmet Tabak has been teaching at NYU’s MA Program in International Relations since 2014. Before joining MAIR, he had taught at Columbia University, Hunter College (CUNY), and NYU’s Department of Politics. He has taught courses in political philosophy, comparative politics, history, and international relations.
Tabak is the author of six books on the philosophies of Karl Marx, G.W.F. Hegel, and Plato. He is currently writing a book on the theories of several prominent realists, who have significantly shaped the academic discipline of international relations. He believes interdisciplinary thinking and research can benefit the study of international relations.
