Our Chair Elizabeth McHeny’s book To Make Negro Literature: Writing, Literary Practice and African American Authorship (Duke 2021) won the DeLong Book History Prize from the Society for the History of Authorship, Reading and Publishing (SHARP).

Brandon Woolf’s book, Institutional Theatrics, was a finalist for the “Outstanding Book Award” from the Association for Theater in Higher Education (ATHE).

Professor Lenora Hanson's book, The Romantic Rhetoric of Accumulation was published last week by Stanford University Press! The work provides an account of the long arc of dispossession from the British Romantic period to today.
