Professor Brandon Woolf, our Director of Dramatic Literature, is featured in the New York Times for his sidewalk project, "The Console." Stationed near a mailbox on the corner of Fourth Street and Prospect Park West with a desk, typewriter, and hand sanitizer, Professor Woolf collaborates with people who approach him to write letters to their loved ones. Professor Woolf was inspired by the project while thinking about all the turmoil happening in the world right now, between the COVID-19 pandemic, election anxieties, and recent changes in the economy and the loss of jobs around the world.
