Chen Gao is a Senior Language Lecturer of the Chinese language. She received her B.A in Chinese Language and Literature in 2002 from Shanxi University. She earned her M.A in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language at Beijing Language and Culture University in 2007. She holds a second M.A. in Foreign Language Education from NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development in 2014. Prior to joining NYU in 2011, she taught Chinese language at Princeton University (2007-2011). Gao also taught at Columbia in Beijing (2005 and 2006) and Princeton in Beijing (2007).
