Lindsey is a southern-born and Minneapolis-grown creative writer and graphic designer. Before joining the XE program, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in English and graphic design from the University of Iowa. Over the past few years, she has worked for a small publishing company, where she was able to explore the intersection of her interests in both design and writing. In her free time, she has been building a portfolio of writing, specializing in modern, queer stories corrupted by the surreal. She’s interested in further pursing how narrative techniques and genres help define identity, and analyzing how classic stories can interact with queer theory. She often writes under the pen name Riley Linn.
