Isa Ananya Spoerry is a senior at NYU’s College of Arts & Science, where she is completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Social & Cultural Analysis and Global & Urban Education. As a participant in NYU’s Accelerated Bachelor’s-Master’s program, Isa will begin graduate coursework through the Center for Experimental Humanities this year before matriculating into the Graduate School of Arts & Science in Fall 2019. She is currently authoring an undergraduate honors thesis on alternative forms of mobility between generations of the Sri Lankan diaspora—born out of her own experiences as a Sri Lankan-American—and looks forward to continuing her research as a master’s student. Isa is also the Editor-in-Chief of NYU’s Journal of Politics & International Affairs. In her spare time, Isa enjoys traveling, writing, and going to brunch with her eight-year-old sister.
