chloe tomasovitch is a writer, educator, performance artist, and activist born and raised in michigan. much of her work is informed by oskar schlemmer, julia kristeva, maya deren, carolee schneemann, julia serano, hélène cixous, and many others. her master's project will focus on the way womxn-identified bodies function under capitalism...how they mother, perform, and react...their shared struggle of ownership. her claim is that women have no choice but to be resilient, even when choices appear to be available. she continues to explore this concept through critical theory, poetry, movement, and pop culture (horror films, identity and erasure on media platforms, onlyfans). chloe is vivacious and unafraid, and a fierce advocate for reproductive autonomy and survivors of abuse. she enjoys non-profit work and research, and spends much of her time writing, dancing, playing piano, and traveling. chloe is proud of her queer and jewish identity.
