XE strives to create a community that welcomes, includes, and supports members from a diversity of backgrounds and experiences including all racial and ethnic identities, gender identities and sexual orientations, ages and abilities, national origins and religious affiliations, first-generation college students, and other individuals who have been historically under-represented in academia. Our faculty aim to incorporate diverse perspectives into course syllabi, public programming, and student events.
We are committed to making our program as affordable and flexible as possible. All students accepted to XE receive a 30% tuition scholarship and are offered the opportunity to take classes full- or part-time. We are committed to scheduling our courses throughout the day and evening to support a range of student schedules.
Faculty at NYU also receive excellent benefits, early career mentorship, and a range of support for life events.
