The Crime, Law and Punishment Workshop meets throughout the academic year to promote and foster the social-scientific study of crime, law and punishment. At many sessions, graduate students and faculty present work in progress (such as draft papers or chapters of books or dissertations) for discussion, critique and suggestions. Both students and professors present work and serve as discussants. At other sessions, the Workshop presents guest speakers. Participants are drawn from various parts of NYU, as well as other universities and research centers in the New York area. Workshops will take place on Thursdays from 5:30-7pm in the Memorial Room (4130). Anyone wishing to present work, or to serve as a discussant, or to be added to the e-mail distribution list should contact its Directors, David Greenberg, at dg4@nyu.edu and Lynne Haney at lynne.haney@nyu.edu.
