Major Interests: I was born in Montreal, Canada and grew up primarily in London, UK. I graduated with a B.A. in Religion from the University of Vermont in 2015. My undergraduate research focused on the efficacy of theories of religion as well as exploring transformations of religious spiritual, intellectual and political authority in response to an ostensibly burgeoning secularism in the US. I plan to continue researching secularism in the US and the ways in which the role of religion has transformed in the face of modernity. I am especially interested in the ways that various domains of authority, such as Science & Religion, have interacted discursively and tangibly to generate new approaches and insights. I am also interested by the ways in which these negotiations intersect and interact in the identities and day-to-day lives of various groups in the US.
