Major Interests: I'm a 2016 Columbia University graduate, earning a B.A. in American Studies. Most of my undergraduate education was focused on learning about the American intellectual and liberal traditions that were so foreign to my Nebraska upbringing.  My graduate studies will focus on combining the two worlds in which I've lived, and the two identities I've inhabited: the East Coast Liberal and the Fundamentalist Midwestern Conservative. As a part of the joint Religion & Journalism program, I will be working towards translating between these two worlds. I am particularily interested in American prostestantism and religious identity, along with the range of identities within Jewish American culture.
