Major Interests: While I was born in New York, my family and I moved around the United States a lot during my formative years. Having to change where I lived, my school, and my general sense of stability multiple times; my learning style adapted to a polymathic model. Although I graduated from the State University at Albany in 2012 with my bachelor's in Fine Arts, I also took a plethora of classes in History, Political Sciences, Film Studies, and Communications. After receiving my bachelor's degree, I briefly studied U.S. Law at Albany Law School. Afterwards, I worked in the private sector developing hydrogen fuel cells as a viable alternative energy source for industrial equipment. Continuing my education at NYU, I chose the religious studies program as it fits my polymathic learning style perfectly. My time here will be focused on the religious aspect of Western Esotericism, a multidisciplinary field in its own right. Within my studies, I will be comparing the historical structure of Western Esoteric religious groups and practices to their modern equivalents. While covering the history and development of Western Esoteric traditions and religions, I am extremely interested in studying how they have adapted to the modern era and a post-rationalist world. I will especially be focusing on the effects that digital technology and modern communication has had in their contemporary development and resurgence in growth.
