Major Interests: Growing up in the Montana Rockies was simultaneously idyllic and alienating. The isolation and homogeneity of my community engendered within me a fierce love of and desperate craving for diversity. My desire to celebrate differences and advocate for the value inherent within cultural variety culminated in 2018 with B.A degrees in Religious Studies and English Literature. While I was given the opportunity to engage multiple fields during my time as an undergraduate, my ultimate concern is the dynamics between minority communities and American political, religious, and social systems. Areas of particular interest to me include the relationships between religion, the prison system, the war on drugs, social welfare, and education.
