Major Interests: I am from Brooklyn, NY and graduated from NYU in 2017 with a B.A. in Religious Studies and Italian. As an undergraduate, I studied medieval and renaissance Italian literature, which awakened my interest in representations of theology in literature and in Religious Studies more broadly. I plan to examine historical and social factors that determine how portrayals of Christianity in both sacred and secular literature have been received in Western cultures. I am particularly interested in viewing this topic through the lens of gender studies.
