The Miranda Family Fellowship supports students in the NYU GSAS Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis with a 3-year commitment of $35,000 annually.
Successful applicants will be bilingual in English and Spanish, and demonstrate financial need. Recipients will also demonstrate a notable history of working in underserved communities, and an ongoing commitment to working to improving access to mental health care in underserved community-based settings. Preference will be given to students with a deep and abiding interest in the culture and people of the Caribbean region.
The Miranda Family Fellowship was conceived and developed by Dr. Luz Towns-Miranda, and is a gift of the Miranda Family Fund.
