Maria Lechich, Ph.D is Clinic Director, Faculty and Clinical Consultant at the NYU Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. She is Head of the Psychology Externship Program and a member of the Clinic’s Immigration and Human Rights Group. She teaches classes on ethics, trauma, shame and race . Dr. Lechich has delivered presentations at conferences of the American Psychoanalytic Association, The International Association of Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy, Division 39 of the American Psychological Association and the International Sandor Ferenczi Center. She is in private practice in Manhattan.
