Richard Kayne, Probal Dasgupta (NYU PhD 1980) and UCLA professor Hilda Koopman, who recently gave a syntax mini-course in our department, have papers in a volume dedicated to the insightful Dravidian syntactician R. Amritavalli, entitled Perspectives on the Architecture and Acquisition of Syntax (Springer). One of the editors is Rahul Balusu (NYU PhD 2009).
