Opera to the People

Open to all students (graduate and undergraduate; NYU & non-NYU) and young professionals.

Opera to the People is a group open to students or other young present and future audience members in order to delve into the world and language of opera, with the objective of fostering a new generation of attentive opera-goers. Students learn about Opera and are then eligible to see a free showing the following day. Often food is provided at sessions. Visit Opera to the People webpage, Facebook, Instagram (@operatothepeople) or contact Julian Sachs, at julian.sachs@nyu.edu for more details and upcoming dates.

Please note: As of Fall 2020, Opera to the People is on hiatus.
