Why did you choose the IR program at NYU?
I always knew that I wanted to come to NYU. I think that it has one of the best programs in New York City and I knew that I was going to learn and develop all the necessary skills to work in the IR field. I believe that when it comes to your graduate education you have to invest in the best because it will mold you to be the best.
Which has been the class you most enjoyed?
The class that I enjoyed the most was Intelligence and National Security. It was my favorite because apart from being interesting, it was the hardest class in terms of context and expectations from the professor. It motivated me to work harder and become a better student. The class is also so informative. It shows you that all you ever thought you knew about Intelligence was incorrect.
What advice would you give to future students of the program?
I would advise future students to feel free to speak not only to their peers but also to their professors if they are having any difficulties or need any type of advice. I have found that NYU professors genuinely want you to succeed and that current students are happy to share their experiences with you.
