Why did you choose the IR program at NYU?
I chose the IR Program at NYU because it was a small and intimate program, and it provides a good amount of exposure to professionals in IR in both the public and private sectors.
Which has been the class you most enjoyed? And the one in which you learned the most?
I really enjoyed Global Marketing with Professor Ammendola, and I learned a lot in the Political Risk Prediction course with Professor Maha Aziz.
What advice would you give to future students of the program?
Attend as many networking events as you can - they are super helpful and a free resource to students. Networking can go a long way after you graduate from the Program, and you also get to connect with past alumni. It really helps to build relationships with your professors and the IR faculty. It's as easy as dropping into their office a few times every semester!
What is your favorite place on campus? What do you like best about student life at NYU?
My favorite place on campus is the top floor of Kimmel. Sometimes there are empty tables up there - and it is a great place to work with a view, and it's usually quiet!
What is the best thing about living in NYC?
Blaming the subway for being late to things!
What are your plans after you graduate? How has this program prepared you for that?
I am looking to get into the renewable energy sector.
