Mass Murder of the Roma People during the Second World War

A lecture and documentary flim with an introduction by Antonin Baudry, Cultural Counselor, French Embassy in the United States Since 2001, Father Desbois, a French priest and president of the Yahad-In-Unum Foundation, has led a historic effort to locate undiscovered mass graves of Jews and Roma killed during the Holocaust. Desbois has identified 2,000 mass graves and 800 extermination sites. To preserve the memory of atrocities that occurred in Eastern Europe, Desbois has recorded startling interviews with 2,500 elderly eyewitnesses. He will show excerpts of his filmed interviews during the presentation.
