For the next Marxism Working Group meeting, we continue thinking about the challenges and breakthroughs of US socialist feminism in the 1970s, and its connection to Black and Third World liberation movements, with three classic texts by Angela Davis: "Reflections on the Black Woman's Role in the Community of Slaves" (1971), "Women and Capitalism: Dialectics of Oppression and Liberation" (1977), and "The Approaching Obsolescence of Housework: A Working-Class Perspective" (1981).
